The Twins will look for revenge on the state of Texas this weekend after losing two of three to the Rangers this week, and losing bad. The Twins gave up 16 runs in two of their three games against the Rangers, losing both, but winning the middle game of the series 6-2. They now set their sights on the Houston Astros to try and get things back on the right track with game one upcoming tonight. The Twins will trot Chris Paddack (2-5) onto the bump tonight against Colton Gordon (1-1) in hopes that Paddack can shake some of those losses and get the Twins a much needed win. First pitch is set for 7:10 CT and you can listen live on KGFX 1060 AM or 103.1 FM in the Pierre area.
The Twins still sit in second place in the AL Central, but are still 8 games behind the Detroit Tigers. The Astros (38-30) boast a 24-10 record at home, so the Twins will certainly have their hands full on the road this weekend.
