MINNEAPOLIS-ST. PAUL, MN – The Minnesota Twins, in conjunction with Major League Baseball, today announced their preliminary schedule for the 2026 regular season, the club’s 66th campaign in Twins Territory.
For the second consecutive season, the Twins will play their earliest Opening Day game ever, beginning the 2026 campaign with a Thursday, March 26 contest against the Baltimore Orioles at Oriole Park at Camden Yards. The Twins host Tampa Bay at Target Field on Friday, April 3 for the club’s second Home Opener against the Rays (also in 2000 at the Metrodome). Minnesota will conclude the regular season at home, welcoming the Texas Rangers from September 25-27.
As part of the fourth campaign of MLB’s balanced schedule in which the Twins play all 29 teams at least once, Minnesota’s 2026 Interleague home and road slates swap opponents from this season. The Twins are scheduled for 24 Interleague games at Target Field in 2026, welcoming the Cincinnati Reds (April 17-19), Miami Marlins (May 12-14), Milwaukee Brewers (May 15-17, as part of MLB’s league-wide “Rivalry Weekend”), St. Louis Cardinals (June 12-14), Los Angeles Dodgers (June 22-24), Colorado Rockies (June 26-28), Philadelphia Phillies (August 14-16) and Atlanta Braves (August 18-20).
Following the May 15-17 weekend series in Minneapolis, the Twins and Brewers will also play a three-game set in Milwaukee from August 7-9. Additionally, Minnesota will visit the following National League clubs next season: the New York Mets (April 21-23), Washington Nationals (May 5-7), Pittsburgh Pirates (May 29-31), Arizona Diamondbacks (June 19-21), Chicago Cubs (July 17-19), San Diego Padres (August 21-23) and San Francisco Giants (September 21-23).
The Twins’ 2026 schedule features 17 home games in the month of April, 12 in May, 16 in June, 12 in July, 13 in August and 11 in September. Minnesota hosts 43 of its 81 home games between Memorial Day (May 25) and Labor Day (September 7), including marquee summer series against the Cardinals (June 12-14), Dodgers (June 22-24), Phillies (August 14-16) and Braves (August 18-20).
Minnesota plays each of their American League Central division rivals 13 times apiece in 2026: the Chicago White Sox (6 home / 7 away), Cleveland Guardians (6 home / 7 away), Detroit Tigers (7 home / 6 away) and Kansas City Royals (7 home / 6 away).

- The Twins’ March 26 Opening Day game is the earliest in franchise history (besting 2025 by 1 day) and is the club’s fourth-straight March opener (8th overall, following 2003, 2008, 2018, 2019, 2023, 2024 and 2025).
- Minnesota opens a season in Baltimore for the fifth time (also 1967, 2012, 2016 and 2018). The Twins are starting on the road for the third-straight campaign and 12th time in the last 16 seasons.
- The Twins have a pair of nine-game homestands at Target Field, first from May 12-20 (3-game series vs. Miami, Milwaukee and Houston) and then again from August 10-20 (3-game sets vs. Baltimore, Philadelphia and Atlanta).
- Minnesota has a season-long 10-game roadtrip from May 22-31 (3-game series at Boston, 4-game set at Chicago-AL and a 3-game series at Pittsburgh).
- The Twins’ three-game set at the Texas Rangers will have a rare mid-series off day on Wednesday, June 17, due to a scheduled FIFA World Cup match that day at AT&T Stadium in Arlington.
