PIERRE, SD – Kevin Lee Kilmer, 65, of Pierre died on Saturday, November 1st. A memorial service will be held at 1:00pm, on Wednesday, November 12 at Isburg Funeral Chapel in Pierre.
Kevin was born on August 26, 1960 in Highmore South Dakota to Burt and JoAnn (Mann) Kilmer. He grew up and attended school in Colfax Iowa and graduated from Colfax High School. After graduation he moved to California and Colorado before coming back to South Dakota. He was a beautician at Macy’s while living in California and was very talented at making clothes.
Kevin loved Halloween it as his favorite of all the holidays, he loved spooky movies and was a diehard Star Wars fanatic with a large collection of Star Was memorabilia. He was a member of the DAV Auxiliary. He loved animals and enjoyed to entertain people as a female impersonator.
He is survived by his sister Tammy Jo Kilmer of Pierre and was preceded in death by his parents Burt and JoAnn.
