Pierre Governor State Championship Press Release

From the Pierre Governor athletic department:

Congratulations to the Governor Football team on their victory Friday night and another trip to the 11AA State Football Championship game at the DakotaDome!  The Pierre School District will dismiss at 12:30PM this Friday, November 14th, to allow staff, students, and parents to attend the game in Vermillion if desired.  

Riggs High School is holding a send off that morning for our football team at 8:35AM in the theater lobby.  The public is welcome to attend.  

All tickets for the game Friday night at the DakotaDome are General Admission, and can be purchased by going to https://www.goyotes.com/tickets and scrolling down and selecting South Dakota High School Football Championships.  Adult seats in the “adult section” are $15.  Student seats in the “student section” are $10.  A child of any age that wants/needs to sit with their parents in the “adult section” will need a $15 adult seat ticket.  Pierre will be the Visiting Team for this game and be on the East Sideline.  Again, all tickets are General Admission.

USD is charging a $5 parking fee for on campus parking, cash only.  Attached is a map with additional parking information.  It is also important to remember that USD has a clear bag policy, and fans will not be allowed on to the playing surface at the conclusion of the game.
