It has been a dominant start to the 2025 campaign for the South Dakota Lady Coyotes who improved to 7-0 last night with a 73-41 win over one-win Arkansas-Pine Bluff.
The Coyotes were led in scoring by Angelina Robles who charted 21-points, and went 8/9 from the free throw line. The Coyotes, as a whole, shot the lights out hitting over 50% of their FG’s. Their keen shooting aided them to a 10-point, 32-22 halftime lead. USD continued their dominance in the second half spreading their lead over 30 in route to their seventh win.
The Lady Coyotes also controlled the boards, out-rebounding the Golden Lions 39-25.
This serves as the fifth double-digit victory to start they year for USD, and they will hit the road looking for their eighth-straight win on Saturday when they head to Wyoming for a 2:00 PM CT tip. The Cowgirls are 2-4 on the season.
