PIERRE, SD – Linda Dickson, 78, passed away peacefully on December 3, 2025, at Avera Maryhouse in Pierre, SD. A funeral service will be held at 1:00pm on Monday, December 8th at Isburg Funeral Chapel in Pierre with burial at Riverside Cemetery.
Linda was Born on May 11, 1947, in Redfield, SD, to Laurens and Alberta (Einspahr) Moeller. Linda grew up in Redfield, where she attended school in Zell until the eighth grade before completing her education in Redfield.
After graduating, Linda met and married Gene Dickson on August 26, 1967 in Huron, SD. Soon after they were married, they settled in Pierre and started their family. To this union three daughters were born Lisa, Lori and Lynette.
Linda found joy in being surrounded by her family, whether playing cards, engaging in crafts, or baking. She also enjoyed reading, computer games and soap operas. She never wanted to be the center of attention and enjoyed giving to others.
Linda is survived by her husband Gene and their daughters, Lisa (Gerry) Sayler, Lori Dickson, and Lynette (Bob) McCarty, five grandchildren, Jacob Sayler, Joshua Sayler, Zak Jacobson, Jessika Meier and Matthew McCarty and one great-grandchild, Madelyn McCarty. She is also survived by her brothers Mike, Ronald, Dave, and Bill Moeller, and sisters Barb Ryman and Beverly Kalahar.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Laurens and Alberta Moeller, her grandson, Justin Sayler and her beloved dog Bella.
