The Pierre Area Chamber of Commerce Government Outreach Committee will hold a candidate forum Monday, April 27, 2026, beginning at 6pm CT at the Ramkota Hotel and Convention Center in Pierre.
The candidates for Pierre School Board, Pierre mayor, District 24 House of Representatives, District 24 Senate and any Hughes County offices on the ballot are all invited.
The petition filing deadline for county and state candidates is March 31, 2026.
Jody Heemstra with DRG Media Group and Zach Nelson with Riverfront Broadcasting will moderate the forums.
