Throughout the school year, Stanley County FFA students competed in multiple Career Development Events (CDEs), including Horse Evaluation, Livestock Team Judging, and Dairy Cattle Judging. These events provided students with valuable competitive experience while strengthening skills in animal selection, evaluation, and decision‑making across multiple species.
Stanley County FFA competitors this year included Corbin Good, Nick Gregg, Cayde Keil, Keaton Keil, John Kreiger, Dakota McEntaffer, James Nemec, Emily Nemec, Hayden Norman, and Owen Spencer. Several students earned top‑ten individual placings:

Stanley County students are now preparing for the 2026 South Dakota State FFA Convention and Competitions, which will be held in Brookings from April 19–22. A Livestock Judging team of four students—Nick Gregg, John Kreiger, Hayden Norman, and Owen Spencer will represent Stanley County at the state level.
