The way Billie Eilish acted during and after her performance with Justin Bieber at Coachella was like teenage girls in the ’60s seeing the Beatles for the first time.
Well, this was no act. Billie was a legit Belieber back in the day, and yesterday, she produced the receipts on Instagram.
She posted a carousel of pics and videos showing her singing along to Justin’s music, wearing his merch, and standing in front of a wall full of Justin Bieber posters.
Oh, and then there’s this: She also posted a picture of a whiteboard, on which she re-wrote the lyrics to the song “Barbie Girl” to be about her love of Justin. I am not kidding.
Here are the words, if you’d like to sing them yourself:
I’m a Bieber girl / In a Bieber world
It’s Biebertastic / Let’s Bieber blast it
Bieber flips his hair / Wears purple everywhere
It’s a Bieber nation / Thank God for his creation
Come on Bieber, spread the fever!!!
The song was apparently for Justin’s birthday in 2014, because Billie also wrote a big number 20 on the board, along with the day, date, year, and time of Justin’s birth.
Oh, and she also included the hospital, the room number, what floor it was on, and what appears to be the doctor who delivered him. (!!!)
Billie would have been around 13 at the time.
(I love Billie for putting this out there. It’s really kind of adorable. I could see some people being embarrassed by it, but she’s diving in head first.)
