The Julian for South Dakota campaign has earned the endorsement (May 13, 2026) of The Collective PAC, an organization committed to closing the persistent gap in Black political representation across every level of American government, from city councils to the United States Senate.
“South Dakota has never had a Black candidate on a statewide ballot. I am the first, and I do not take that lightly. The Collective PAC’s endorsement is a reminder of what this campaign represents beyond the policy fights and the fundraising deadlines. It is proof that when a community that has been told it does not belong somewhere decides to show up anyway, people notice. Every South Dakotan deserves to see themselves reflected in the people making decisions that shape their lives. That is what we are building here and we are just getting started.” – Julian Beaudion
“Our endorsement of Julian Beaudion reflects our shared commitment to building Black political power, advancing equitable policy, and ensuring our communities are represented at every level of government. Your vision, leadership, and the work you’ve put in to get to this point made you stand out in a deep field of candidates this cycle, and we’re honored to stand alongside you heading into November 2026.” – Irene Marion, Senior Advisor for Program and Partner Strategies, The Collective PAC.
