Watertown hosted the ESD track and field meet on Saturday afternoon which welcomed Aberdeen Central, Harrisburg, Huron, Brandon Valley, Mitchell, Tea Area and Pierre. The Governor boys finished in 4th place, 77 points behind Brandon Valley, Harrisburg and Aberdeen Central. The girls took 6th place with 66 points. Governor athletes took home three separate championships while achieving 30 personal records. Some of the biggest accomplishments of the day saw Caleb Morris secure a new school record in the 1600m run and Charlee Williams-Smith was named “Outstanding Track Athlete of the Meet.
