Young farmers and ranchers are invited to learn and network at the NextGen Beef Tour on August 21-22, near Mitchell.
The NextGen Beef Tour features networking, exhibitors, and a panel discussion on Friday evening, followed by a tour of several beef operations in the Mitchell area on Saturday. The event is an opportunity for young producers and those just starting their ag careers to gain connections and access resources that can help them succeed in farming and ranching.
South Dakota Farm Bureau’s Young Farmers & Ranchers Committee is hosting the NextGen Beef Tour, in partnership with Beef Logic. The event is sponsored by Farm Bureau Financial Services, Farm Credit Services, Butler Machinery, and 701X Tags. Other supporters include Farm Service Agency, SD Governor’s Office of Economic Development, Zoetis, Dakota Conservation Network, and SD Department of Agriculture and Natural Resources.
Cost to attend is $30 per person or $50 per couple. Advance registration is required.
