Graveside Services for Sidney Ramsey Jr. of Cannon Ball, ND will be at 11 AM, CT on Saturday, October 3, 2020 at Big Lake Cemetery in Cannon Ball, ND under direction of Oster Funeral Home of Mobridge, SD. Family and friends will gather at Oster’s at 930 AM, CT on Saturday, October 3, 2020 to follow in procession to cemetery for services. Sidney Ramsey Jr. entered the Spirit World on September 23, 2020 at his home in Cannon Ball, ND. Oster Funeral Home is Honored to serve family of Sidney Ramsey.

Sidney was born on July 22, 1961 in Fort Yates, ND to Sidney Ramsey Sr. and Victoria Shelltrack Ramsey.

He attended school in Whapeton grade school and Jr high school. He graduated from Solen High School, then he enlisted in the National Guard and was in Army. A grass dancer. Was involved in all American Legion Duties, kept fire over the Camp, always had coffee on and ready to go. Sidney Rat always lend a helping hand and whomever needed it. Always smiling and joking around, he had a special bond with whomever he met. He will be missed in the Cannon Ball Community by all family and friends that were part of his life or knew him.

Sidney is survived by his children Evelyn, Loren, Sydney Ramsey, his brother Sterling Ramsey of Brockton, MT, his sister Charlotte Ramsey of Cannon Ball, ND, brother in law Ronald Yellow Hammer, nieces Jennifer, Elizabeth, Wilma, Laureen, Ronnie Yellow Hammer of Brockton, MT, Avis Bigtrack, Cassandra Bigtrack, Violet Fox, Ruby Ramsey of Bismarck, ND, Angela Buckley of Cannon Ball, ND, Cecile, Cecelia Ramsey of Fort Yates, ND, nephews Joe Yellowhammer, Sidney- Kelley Bigtrack of Fort Totten, ND, Dale Ramsey of Cannon Ball, ND, Curtis Ramsey, Emmette- Andrew Ramsey of Fort Yates, ND, Thomas Ramsey of Mandan, ND, Logan Buckley, Andre- Craig “Joe Dirt” Ramsey, Theodore Buckley and Claude Ramsey of Fort Yates, ND, Brent Long Chase , Marie, Annie, Becky, Shawn Lil Guy St John.

Sidney will be proceeded in death by his parents Sidney Sr and Victoria Ramsey, brothers Terrance, Claude Sr., Cedric Ramsey, sisters Julie Del Los Reyas, Katherine, Linda Many Horses, Mavis, Claudia, and Harriet Ramsey, Sandra Yellowhammer Ramsey, grandparents Charles Helen Bull Bear- Shelltrack, Charles and Charlotte Big Head Ramsey.

Casket bearers will be Emmette Ramsey, Andre Ramsey, Dale Ramsey, Claude Ramsey Jr., Logan Buckley, Theodore Buckley.
