Funeral services for Tenah Marie Foolbear, 42, of Ft. Yates will be at 11 AM, Monday, September 28, 2026, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Ft. Yates. Burial will be at the church cemetery. A rosary will be at 10:30 AM, Monday. Tenah passed away Friday, September 18, 2026, at Sanford Medical Center in Bismarck. Kesling Funeral Home of Mobridge of Mobridge is in charge of arrangements.

Tenah M. Foolbear was born to Janice Littlebird and Michael Hollow on March 26, 1984 in Ft. Yates, ND. She grew up in Ft. Yates, where she was raised by Janice and her stepfather, Floyd Montclair. She played basketball and graduated from Standing Rock High School in 2002. Growing up she enjoyed spending time with her younger siblings, teaching them how to play basketball and different things until she became a mother herself. She enjoyed spending time with her family, laughing, joking around and even going for cruises.

Tenah is survived by her partner, Colin Walks Sr., and her children, Laurellee, Koleen, Kristine, Colton, Colin Jr., and Brendon Foolbear, sister, Angelica Montclair and family, brother, Monty Hollow and family.

She is preceded in death by her mom, Janice Littlebird, grandma, Florence Foolbear, daughter, Laurel Lee Walks, brother, Kerwin Hollow, sister, Valene Little Bird, nephew, Christopher Little Bird.
