The Lady Tigers played last night in High School Volleyball. Well that is the Ipswich Tigers and The Mobridge Pollock Tigers. Ipswich was led by Paige Mehlberg with 10 kills and hitting 28 of 32 attempts. Mobridge Pollock was led by Regan Stoick hitting 25 of 27 and 6 kills. Emma Keller and Callie Weisbeck combined for 20 assists for Mobridge Pollock while Halle Heinz and Bailey Pitz combined for 33 assists for Ipswich. In the end the straight set victory belonged to Ipswich 25 to 22, 27 to 25 and 25 to 15. The Mobridge Pollock girls will try to bounce back tonight at Mobridge Pollock High School as they take on Aberdeen Roncalli at around 4:00 PM with middle school volleyball and moving on to JV and Varsity. Herreid Selby Area will take on Faulkton Area tonight as well.
Also last night Potter County defeated Stanley County in straight sets, 25-16, 25-10, 25-8.
The final week of the football season is here already. For Mobridge Pollock last week’s trip to Redfield will turn out to be the last week of their season. Due to complications from Covid 19 the Bennett County Warriors have decided not to play this Friday as previously scheduled. The Mobridge Pollock Tiger Football fans will have to wait until Thursday October 22nd for the next game and that will be the first round of the 11B State Championship Playoffs. KMLO will have Faulkton Area in Gettysburg against Potter County on Friday. If you can’t make it to that one tune it in at 100 point seven FM KMLO and the play by play starting at 6:30.
