A woman from St. Francis, South Dakota, has been indicted by a federal grand jury for Involuntary Manslaughter.
Diana Swift, age 31, pled not guilty.
The Indictment alleges on September 14, 2020, in Todd County, Swift killed a woman by operating a motor vehicle in a grossly negligent manner.
The maximum penalty if convicted is up to eight years in federal prison and/or a $250,000 fine, three years of supervised release and restitution may be ordered.
Swift was released on bond pending trial.
