Lester Lone Eagle, age 69, of Dupree, SD, entered the Spirit World on Saturday, November 28, 2020 at Avera St. Mary’s Hospital in Pierre, SD
Lester is survived by two sons, Lester Lone Eagle, Jr. of Dupree, SD and Galvin Ashley of Cherry Creek, SD. Three daughters, Samantha Lone Eagle of Dupree, and twin daughters, Lisa and Louise Lone Eagle of Rapid City, SD One brother, Bud Lone Eagle of Rapid City. 14 Grandchildren and 1 Great Grandchild.
In compliance with the CDC Covid19 regulations and the CRST Tribal Directives for mortuary care with social distancing, a Traditional Lakota funeral service for family will be begin at 10:00 AM, Monday, December 7, 2020 at the Bridger Community Hall at Bridger, SD, with Steve Vance officiating. Burial with Military Rites will take place at the Bridger Community Cemetery.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Rooks Funeral Home of Eagle Butte, SD.
