(WNAX)- Despite not winning any of the elections for statewide offices last month, democrats in South Dakota will be filling some important offices with national connections.
Democratic Party Chairman Randy Seiler of Fort Pierre says the Biden Administration will make a handful of appointments next year.
Since there are no statewide democratic office holders, Seiler will coordinate filling those positions with the incoming Administration.
Seiler says there are a good number of qualified candidates for all the offices.
Seiler says he hopes to see those positions filled by early spring.
