NSU’s Brewer Throws No-Hitter, Helped By Former Governor Sarringar

ABERDEEN – Northern State University pitcher Seth Brewer threw a no-hitter Sunday in the Wolves’ 10-0 win over Minot State at Fossum Field.

Brewer needed just 80 pitches to throw the seven-inning gem.  He struck out nine and walked one.

Brewer’s catcher was former Pierre Governor Spencer Sarringar, who hit a two-run homer, his second of the season, to cap a five-run sixth inning that gave NSU the 10-run lead and the chance for Brewer to wrap the game up early.  Sarringar is batting .312 this season with 19 RBI and has started all 23 games for the Wolves.
