LeRoy Dale Hofer (90) of Pahrump, NV died in Las Vegas, NV, May 4th, 2021.
LeRoy was born November 11, 1930, on a farm near Onida, South Dakota to Sam and Katie Hofer. He had one sibling Dwayne Hofer. He graduated from Onida High School in 1949.
LeRoy served in the United States Navy from 1951 to 1955. After returning home from the Navy, LeRoy married Darlene Tschetter from Doland, South Dakota in 1956.
LeRoy attended Huron College and the National School of Business in Rapid City, South Dakota. LeRoy enjoyed a long career in banking and served as President of the South Dakota Bankers Association.
LeRoy was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years Darlene, daughter Kathy, Father Sam, Mother Katie, brother Dwayne.
LeRoy is survived by three children: Preston Hofer (wife Marjorie) Denver, CO, Quinten Hofer (wife Julie) Cedar Rapids, IA, Pamela Hofer Rapid City, SD, four grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.
