Funeral Services for Delphine Plenty Chief of Cannon Ball, ND will be at 12PM, CT on Friday, May 14, 2021 at the Red Gym in Cannon Ball, ND. Burial in St. Elizabeth’s Catholic Cemetery in Cannon Ball, ND under direction of Oster Funeral Home of Mobridge, SD. Family and friends will process from Oster’s to the gym at 4 PM, CT on Thursday, May 13, 2021 services at 7 PM, CT. Delphine passed away at her home in Cannon Ball, ND. Oster Funeral Home of Mobridge, SD.
Delphine June was born June 14, 1949 to Samuel Fast Horse and Cecilia Ireland Martin. She was raised and educated in Cannon Ball, attending Cannon Ball Elementary and graduated from Solen High School in 1967. After finishing school, she met her first husband Gerald Uses Arrow from this union came Rolanda Uses Arrow, Roland and Robin Uses Arrow, shortly after this union was no more Delphine met Everette Uses Arrow, and a daughter was born Yvette Cecelia Uses Arrow. A few years later she met the Love of her life Ervin Plenty Chief Jr., from this marriage came Eric, Erwin, Ira, & K. Riley Plenty Chief.
Delphine worked for over 23 years, for the Solen and Cannon Ball School District in various positions such as a teacher’s aide and secretary. Delphine took many people in and helped in any way she could, she touched a lot of hearts and lives wherever she went.
Delphine leaves behind her love & partner Ervin Plenty Chief Jr., one daughter Rolanda (Giz) Uses Arrow, 3 sons Robin Uses Arrow, Ira (Lucinda) Plenty Chief, K. Riley (Samantha) Plenty Chief, one special grandson Kirk (ADA) Hollow, also all her grandchildren, great grandchildren.
Delphine proceeded in death by her 3 sons Roland Uses Arrow, Eric Plenty Chief, Erwin R. Plenty Chief, one daughter Yvette Cecelia Uses Arrow, granddaughters Paige Lynn Busse, Erin Jade Plenty Chief, one grandson Evrick Plenty Chief, 2 brothers Duane & Fenton, 2 sisters Audrey and Mary, her parents Samuel and Cecelia.
Delphine will be missed by all.
Casket bearers will be Keegan Ty Ealge, Keean Aaron Eagle, Mike Joshua, Edmund Fasthorse, Edsal Fasthorse, Ira Plenty Chief, Jeremy Lester, Brent Murray, Trent Busse, Sammy Silk Jr., Elias Plenty Chief.
Honorary Bearers will be all family and friends.
