A minimum-security inmate serving time on a drug charge out of Hughes County is back in custody.
Randy High Horse was placed on escape status Saturday after leaving the Sioux Falls Community Work Center without authorization. He was arrested today (Tues.) by the Minnehaha County Sheriff’s and Sioux Falls Police Departments.
High Horse is serving a 5-year sentence on a Hughes County charge of Ingestion of a Controlled Substance. Leaving a non-secure facility without authorization constitutes 2nd Degree Escape, a Class 5 felony punishable by up to 5 years in prison.
