It’s a busy night of meetings for local government entities.
Among items on the agenda this (Tues.) evening are:
- the Outdoor Pool Committee presenting its plan to replace Pierre’s current outdoor pool to the Pierre City Commission
- the Hughes County Commission officially swearing Darin Johnson in as sheriff and discussing the Transportation Master Plan Study
- the Fort Pierre City Council reviewing bids and awarding contracts for the Yellowstone Street project.
The Pierre City Commission meeting begins at 5:30pm at City Hall. The Hughes County Commission meeting starts at 5:30pm on the 2nd floor of the Hughes County Courthouse in Pierre. The Fort Pierre City Council meeting convenes at 6:30pm in the basement of the Stanley County Courthouse in Fort Pierre.
All three meetings are open to the public and have time set aside on the agenda for citizen comments.
