Effective at Noon CDT on Monday (March 25) Spring Load Limit Restrictions will apply to various road segments in central South Dakota.
The following segments will be restricted to a limit of 6 tons per axle:

SD Hwy. 271– 7 miles from Main St. in Java to the Campbell County Line

SD Hwy. 20– 13 miles from the junction of US Hwy. 83 to the junction of SD Hwy. 47 west of Hoven

SD Hwy. 63– 31 miles from the junction of US Hwy. 212 to the junction of SD Hwy. 20

SD Hwy. 63– 23 miles from the Cheyenne River to the junction with US Hwy. 212
-
SD Hwy. 63– 25.5 miles from the junction of SD Hwy. 34 to the Cheyenne River
These segments will be restricted to a limit of 7 tons per axle:

SD Hwy. 1806– about 41.5 miles from the junction of SD Hwy. 273 north to US Hwy. 83

SD Hwy. 1806– about 29.5 miles from the intersection west of the dam to Mission Ridge
-
SD 1804– 37 miles from the Hughes/Sully County line to US Hwy. 212
-
SD 1804– almost 4.5 miles north of US Hwy. 212
The effective date of the load restrictions is determined by weather and road conditions.
