The South Dakota Department of Transportation continues pavement rehabilitation work on US Highways 14, 14B, 83 and SD Highway 34 in Pierre and Fort Pierre this week.
In Pierre, lane closures will be from Pierre Street to Henry Street and Pawnee Street to Crow Street.
Traffic will be carried through the work zone with the use of flaggers, lane shifts and lane closures, but no road closures or detours are expected. Over-width vehicles will be required to go around the dam in lieu of going through the construction zones.
The approximate completion date for the project is mid-June.
The first part of this project was done last year, primarily in Fort Pierre.
