A 29 year old Pierre woman convicted of Perjury has been sentenced in federal court.
Margaret Lynn Ghost was sentenced to 12 months and a day in federal prison and 3 years of supervised release. She pled guilty on March 8, 2019.
The conviction stemmed from an incident on June 1, 2018, when Ghost signed an affidavit in which she willfully and knowingly made a false statement.
Ghost was immediately turned over to the custody of the U.S. Marshals Service.
