Congratulations to Sophomore Lilli Doll and Freshmen Ava Gors on being named last week’s (Feb. 7-11, 2022) Pierre TF Riggs High School First National Bank Fine Arts Performers of the Week!
Nomination from Choir Director, Mr. Bauck:
Lilli and Ava are both members the Treble Choir. Ava is new to choir this year. Both students are shy singers, but they are attentive, work hard, and enjoy singing. Recently, they both competed at Vocal Small Group Contest in Kimball. They were in an ensemble where they were responsible for their part. They are used to singing with many other people on their part. This was a big step outside of the box for both of them. They put in a lot of time and effort coming in for lessons and working with material on Google Classroom to better prepare themselves. Their willingness to try something new and their determination and hard work to go through with it has really made them shine and has also been a great time of personal growth.
