Memorial services for Randall (Randy) Russell Hare will be at 11 AM, Saturday, February 19, 2022, at Kesling Funeral Home in Mobridge. Inurnment will be at Greenwood Cemetery. Randy passed away Saturday February 5, 2022, in Sioux Falls SD.
Randall (Randy) Russell Hare passed away Saturday February 5, 2022, in Sioux Falls SD. Arrangements are pending with Kesling Funeral Home of Mobridge.
Randy was born March 26, 1963 in Huron SD to Robert and Shirley (Moser) Hare. He was the youngest of four children. Randy attended school in Mobridge SD, graduated from high school with the Class of 1981. In September 1981, Randy started college at Mitchell Technical School, graduated in 1983 with a degree in Electrical Construction and Refrigeration.
Randy moved to Denver CO where he worked for Courtesy Electric for a couple of years and then he worked for Losaw Electric. While still working for Losaw Electric, he transferred to California. Randy worked in California for five years before returning to Denver. He continued to work for Losaw Electric.
In March 2011, after his mother passed away, Randy moved to Sioux Falls to be closer to his Dad and family. Randy worked at Walmart for ten years while living in Sioux Falls.
Randy enjoyed playing sports during middle school and high school. He particularly enjoyed basketball, football and baseball. He excelled in all of them and was very fun to watch. His sports loving ways continued on in life as well. He never missed a chance to go see a professionally played game and of course his television was always on some sort of sports channel. In Randy’s free time, he enjoyed fishing with his Dad and family. He caught a lot of fish off of the Missouri River and Lake Oahe.
Randy is survived by his father, Robert-Sioux Falls; his sisters, Kathy Kuegler-Grand Junction CO, Jackie Ten Broek- Conifer CO, Cindy (Clyde) Mittleider-Sioux Falls; nieces and nephews Stacy (Richard) Visker-Sioux Falls, Dustin (Sarah) Mittleider-Sioux Falls, Ryan (Sabrina) Bussard- Grand Junction CO, Kyle Kuegler-Denver CO, Alicia Ten Broek-Conifer CO, great nieces and nephews; Kylie, Brinley, Anna Taylor, Kacey, Jayde, Carson, Tyler and Aspen.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Shirley (Moser) Hare; and his grandparents, Charlie & Della Hare, and Ed & Emma Moser.
