‘Tis the season of orange cones, lane closures and detours as construction works gets into full swing in South Dakota.
Motorists in Pierre will encounter traffic disruptions along Euclid Avenue between Sixth Street and East Pleasant Drive and along Pierre Street between Pleasant Drive and the train bridge this week.
A contractor is cleaning and inspecting the sanitary sewer mains along this corridor. The contractor will use a rolling schedule while working north to south along Euclid Avenue. Intersections may be temporarily closed throughout the process.
Weather permitting, the cleaning and inspections are expected to be complete Friday.
