KADOKA – It’s 17 and counting for White River.
The Tigers eased past Harding County 68-50 on Tuesday at Kadoka Area High School in a SoDak 16 game to qualify for the Class B boys state tournament for the 17th consecutive year. This includes 2020, when the state tournament was not played due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Joe Sayler had another outstanding game for White River (19-2), scoring 28 points.
On Thursday, March 17, White River will meet Freeman Academy/Marion in the first round at the Barnett Center in Aberdeen on the Northern State University campus. Coverage on 94.5/100.5 KPLO and at the KPLO page at the DRG News app & drgnews.com will begin immediately following the first-round game between Lower Brule and Castlewood.
