Pierre’s 2nd annual Dairy Queen and DQ Grill n’ Chill Miracle Treat Day yesterday (Thurs.) raised over $6-thousand dollars for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.
According to the store’s digital marquee, people purchased 6,702 blizzards or blizzard coupons– 82 more than last year.
Pierre store general manager Jennifer Uecker says $1 or more from the sale of each blizzard or blizzard coupon will be sent to the Sanford Children’s Hospital in Sioux Falls.
Donations to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals support research and training, purchase equipment and pay for the care of some patients who are unable pay.
