The Pierre Police Department has begun the process of marking vehicles that haven’t been moved since the last snowfall.
Captain Bryan Walz says according to city ordinance, vehicles parked on any Non-Emergency Snow Route street or highway more than 24 hours after two inches of snow has accumulated must be moved until the snow has been plowed to the curb line.
Again, warnings have been placed on vehicles in violation of Pierre’s City Ordinance. Ticketing and towing will begin at 8am tomorrow (Thurs.).
