South Dakota’s average gas price is $2.685 per gallon. It’s up a penny from last week, up 8 cents from last month but down 19 cents from the price one year ago.
AAA South Dakota spokesperson Marilyn Buskohl says the majority of motorists can expect more expensive gas prices throughout July, but the national average is still not likely to hit $3/gallon.
The nation’s least expensive markets are: Mississippi ($2.34), Arkansas ($2.36) and Louisiana ($2.38).
