The City of Pierre is extending its voluntary water restriction through the weekend.
The restriction is in place to reduce sewer flows while the team works to repair the sewer line that collapsed early Thursday morning. Residents can limit water use by delaying use of washing machines, dish washers and showers until evening hours.
The City will let the public know when the voluntary restriction has been lifted.
