Pierre School District employees spent the weekend mopping up after rain leaked into the Georgia Morse Middle School during Friday afternoon’s brief, but heavy rain.
District business manager Darla Mayer says the roofing replacement project was scheduled to be finished, but hadn’t quite wrapped up.
Mayer says various pieces of technology and equipment in the affected rooms may need to be replaced.
