Pierre Regional Airport will be conducting a full scale aircraft emergency exercise this evening (Thurs.) from 5:30-7:30.

The Federal Aviation Administration requires this exercise every three years to maintain commercial airport certification.

Participating first responders include the Pierre police, fire and rural fire departments, Hughes County Sheriff’s Office, EMS, airport staff and a few others.
