Seven new positive cases of COVID-19 have been reported in South Dakota today (Mon.)– including one in Hughes County and one in Lyman County.
State Sec. of Health Kim Malsam-Rysdon says this make a total of 28 positive cases in the state so far and three of the new cases are hospitalized.
Gov. Kristi Noem says the number of positive cases in the state will rise.
She says COVID-19 isn’t just a two week problem.
Noem says precautionary steps being taken in South Dakota are working, but we have a long way to go.
The SD Department of Health is providing updated COVID-19 information, including number of cases in the state, at COVID.SD.GOV.
