A 15-year-old female died yesterday (Sun.) afternoon in an ATV crash three miles southeast of Selby.
The name of the deceased has not yet been released pending notification of family members. She was the only person involved.
A 2017 Polaris Ranger ATV (XP 900 EPS ) was northbound on a gravel road (308th Avenue) when the driver lost control. The ATV rolled and the teenager was thrown from it. She was pronounced dead at the scene. She was not wearing a helmet.
South Dakota’s Highway Patrol continues to investigate the crash.
