Stanley County football head coach Max Foth has resigned his position at the conclusion of the 2026 season. The announcement was made public on the schools district page. You can view the full statement below:
Stanley County,
Today I put in my resignation to the administration for Head Football Coach at Stanley County effective following the conclusion of the 2026 season.
This decision has not been an easy one. Coaching has been an important part of my life for many years, I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to lead, mentor, and build relationships with the young men who have represented our school and community.
Throughout my coaching career, I have always believed that our responsibility extends far beyond wins and losses. Football provides an opportunity to teach accountability, perseverance, discipline, and the importance of working toward something bigger than yourself. I hope the lessons our students have learned will serve them long after they are done playing.
As I enter a new chapter of my life, I recognize the importance of dedicating more of my time and energy to my growing family. My wife and children deserve the same commitment, passion, and presence that I have given to the young people I’ve coached.
I leave this position proud of the effort our players have given, the relationships we’ve built, and the experiences we’ve shared. I will always be grateful for the opportunity to serve this program and community. This decision is mine and mine alone. I have received nothing but care and support from our administration, Ms. Bracelin, and parents of students I’ve coached.
Thank you to the athletes, assistant coaches, families, and individuals who have supported me throughout this journey. I wish the Stanley County Football program nothing but success moving forward.
Sincerely,
Max Foth
Thank you, Coach Foth, for your time and dedication to the football program!
