LEMMON – Mobridge Post 4 split a Tuesday doubleheader with Hettinger/Scranton/Lemmon/Bowman, taking the first game 3-0, then falling 7-5 in the second game.
Noah Bauer pitched a shutout in the opener, allowing six hits and striking out seven while walking only two. Bauer and Wade Begeman each had two hits and an RBI.
Mobridge had 2-0, 4-3 and 5-4 leads in the nightcap, but Hettinger/Scranton/Lemmon/Bowman scored three in the fifth inning in the comeback win. Cayden Eisemann doubled, singled and drove in a run for Mobridge, who also had RBI from Blaise Thompson, Jackson Eisemann and Jack Faehnrich.
Mobridge is now 6-13 and will host LaMoure in a doubleheader Wednesday at 5:00 PM.
