Dairy Queen’s national office canceled this year’s Children’s Miracle Network Miracle Treat Day because of COVID-19, but that’s not stopping the stores in South Dakota from holding the annual fundraiser.
Pierre Dairy Queen store manager Jen Uecker says tomorrow’s (July 30, 2020) state-wide fundraiser is called South Dakota Sweet Miracles.
To help alleviate congestion by Dairy Queen, Uecker says they’ll have two outdoor blizzard stores people can also buy from.
Uecker has extended the pre-order deadline to 2pm today (Wed.). Find the form on the Pierre Dairy Queen’s Facebook page, then email her the order.
This is the third year the Pierre store has participated in the Children’s Miracle Network fundraiser. It sold over 6600 blizzards or blizzard coupons each of the past two years.
