Mobridge Sports

Two members of the Mobridge Pollock Golf team will represent the Tigers at the state golf tournament next week.  Jack Faehnrich shot a 45 on the front nine and a 45 on the back nine for a score of ninety good enough for 7^th place.  Sean Moser shot a 47 on the front nine and a 47 on the back nine for a tie for nineth place.  Both golfers now prepare for a trip to Hot Springs and the State A Golf Tournament to be played next Monday and Tuesday.  Last night in high school volleyball the Ipswich Lady Tiger volleyball team beat Northcentral in straight sets.  The first set was 25 to 12 the second 25 to 15 and the final set was 25 to 21.  Paige Mehlberg had 12 kills on 21 for 24 hitting for the Lady Tigers.  Krystal Geier had 7 kills for Northcentral.  The Faulkton Area Lady Trojans will be in action tonight against Langford Area in Faulkton, Herreid Selby Area will host Aberdeen Christian tonight in Herreid.  Football Friday nigh will see some great match ups.  Ipswich Edmunds Central will host Faulkton Area in Ipswich, Timber Lake will host New Underwood, Lemmon McIntosh will be in Buffalo against Harding County, The North Border Titans will be in Onida against Sully Buttes.  The Herreid Selby Area Wolverines have worked out a deal to play on Friday after all.  The Wolverines will play Avon on Friday in Redfield starting with a broadcast on KMLO 100 point seven FM.  Spencer Gosch will be there at 2:30 in the afternoon with radio and live video on our website drgnews dot com, click stations, then click KMLO and scroll down to the live sports video.  The Mobridge Pollock Tigers will host Webster Area at Tiger Stadium.  If you cannot make it to the game in person then count on Star 99 to bring you all the play by play action on 99 point five FM.  If you would like to watch the game live from your computer or smart TV go to drgnews dot com, click stations, and choose Star 99, then scroll down to live video and the broadcast will start at around 6:30.
