Today’s (Oct. 26, 2020) update from the South Dakota Department of Health showed 525 new confirmed cases and 13 new probable cases of COVID-19 in the state since yesterday.

- 38,504 total confirmed cases
- 28,305 recovered cases
Coronavirus patients currently occupy 13.9% of the staffed hospital beds in the state. Other patients are using 50.8% of the staffed beds leaving 35.3% available. Of the staffed intensive care unit beds in the state, COVID-19 patients are using 27.9%, other patients occupy 40.4% and 31.7% are available to be used.
