Hughes County Commission passes Second Amendment Sanctuary County resolution

The Hughes County Commission has approved a resolution declaring the county as a Second Amendment Sanctuary County.

Commissioner Connie Hohn says the county designation ties in with a state resolution passed by the legislature this year.

Chairman Randy Vance and the other commissioners chimed in in agreement.

Stanley County adopted a Second Amendment Sanctuary County designation via ordinance last month (March 2, 2021).
