Pierre TF Riggs All-State Choir participants named Fine Arts Performers of the Week

High School All-State Choir participants named Pierre TF Riggs Fine Arts Performers of the Week.

The singers are: Emalee Larson, Grace Schumacher, Ellie VerBeek, Bayle Hanna, Jordan Morley, Kate Mullet, Claire Koenecke, Amber Sargent-Granberg, Blake Jones, Thomas Vetsch, Nathan Haberling, Jacob Larson, Michael VanDeWiele, Ruben Bowen, Levi McKinley and Lincoln Mefferd.

Choir director Rodd Bauck says All State Choir was tough this year. First it was moved to April 2021. Then, the conductor pulled out of the event. A new conductor stepped in with new music, but then the event was cancelled altogether. However, Bauck says, these students still need to be recognized for their efforts and achievements.
