Activities and events for the 72nd annual South Dakota State High School Finals Rodeo continue today (June 16) at the Stanley County Fairgrounds in Fort Pierre.
Along with hearing various DRG Media Group on-air staff chatting with contestants, organizers and more, you’ll also hear reports from Onida resident and Rodeo Queen contestant Lydia Hill– who has a long family history in South Dakota rodeo.
Hill competes in the horsemanship portion of the contest this (Wed.) morning.
Hill will be a junior at Sully Buttes High School this fall.
The high school Finals Rodeo will be held at the Stanley County Fairgrounds in Fort Pierre through 2023.
