When the new school year starts (2021-22), Pierre TF Riggs High School students will have the option to take classes online.
Principal Kevin Mutchelknaus updated the school board during this week’s (June 14) meeting while discussing changes to the high school handbook.
He says they’ve worked in time slots for teachers to be available for the online students.
Mutchelknaus says in some instances, students did better remotely than they did in the classroom.
Pierre’s Georgia Morse Middle School and all elementary school students will be required to attend classes in person.
