Capital City Campus in Pierre has received a $20,000 grant to to support their externally funded tuition program.
CCC executive director Chris Maxwell says the funding will be used to support and expand $40 per credit hour classes. He says using the externally funded tuition program, Capital City Campus is able to offer post-secondary courses through accredited schools in South Dakota at a lower rate than a traditional college setting.
The next set of courses at CCC are scheduled for Spring 2022 and will be provided through South Dakota State University. Class registration will begin to be available in October 2021.
Capital City Campus also hosts Lake Area Technical College’s Licensed Practical Nursing program and Dakota Wesleyan University’s new Learn & Earn program.
