A Sioux Falls man is trying to find ways to help friends in Afghanistan escape the grasp of the Taliban.
Attorney and radio news man Todd Epp was in Afghanistan in 2015 and 2016, working to privatize the Afghan national coal company– and met many Afghanis in the process.
Now, many of them are trying to escape and Epp wants to help.
Epp says he has been pushing all the buttons he can.
Epp says the best way to help is not to forget them.
Epp says the Taliban is actively looking for Afghanis who helped the US or our allies. He says those who would like to help, should write to their Congresspersons and President Biden and asking them to spur the US State Department to act more quickly in getting those people out of Afghanistan.
