Congratulations to students of Mrs. Jordan’s Culinary Class on being chosen as the First National Bank Pierre TF Riggs High School Fine Arts Performers of the Week.
Here is their nomination from Mrs. Jordan:
I really want to nominate my culinary students for performers of the week last week they solo handedly catered a lunch for the education leaders summit with wraps sandwiches and pasta sandwiches that they made from scratch. I am extremely impressed by them. The food, from what I heard, was phenomenal and they did a great job. My substitute complemented them. My mentor chef that was in there also complemented them. I’m very proud of my students and I know that they worked really hard to bring this meal together. They students are: Sofia Vogelius (12), Skyler Ruth (11), Nyah Ogan (11), Ayden Syll (10), Maddie Eckstine (10), Gavin Jacobson (11), Morgan Johnson (10), Lavin Price (10) and Chyler Jones (10).
